If you want to come off more aggressive, then you'll have to be confident and obvious about your interest - offer to buy the guy a drink, show you're interested in getting to know him better.
But since it's just a 1NS, just be careful not to let him get too attached! You only want their company for a night, not a long term relationship - just keep that in mind.
